I was surfing the Internet recently for  some good deals on clothing, and doing price comparisons the way shrewd shoppers can, when I came across the www.next.co.uk website. My intention was more to have knowledge of the possible prices before trotting off to a brick and mortar shop to buy the goods, but a few minutes planned on the website turned to an hour and before I knew it I had bought goods worth 60 pounds off the Next website. I took satisfactory delivery of a pair of jeans and a t-shirt following day. How did this happen? How had the Next website turned a simple visitor into a satisfied shopper? Broadband Providers - How to compare

The main things to consider when comparing broadband providers are:

Price.
This usually is a a one-off install fee, then a monthly fee. Knowing the length of your contract is also important. Don’t be fooled by low monthly fees such as £3.99, that is usually for a limited period only, such as 3 months, then the fee is much higher than the industry standard.

Speed.
Broadband connections are now getting faster and faster. At the moment you can obtain anywhere between 2MB and 8MB but beware not all postcodes in the UK are able to obtain 8MB. Read the rest of this entry »
